The Linda Bolero is a feminine bold design.  I named it after my loving sister who possesses so many beautiful qualities that is hard to express in words.   In this design, I wanted to express her tender yet strong persona.  She is a loving and passionate person who has amazing inner strength.  This inner strength allows her to persevere and succeed in all that she does.  I hope this piece captures the beauty and give you a glimpse of who she is.

These are the Bolero sketches for the upcoming DIY Wedding Gown series.

The “Linda” bolero will be a bold and strong design.

The Ordinaries: precut tulle, elastic, rose satin fabric flower, feathers, rhinestones

The “Dawn” bolero is a sweet and playful design.

The Ordinaries: stretch sheer fabric, silk flowers

Of course these designs were named after some very special people in my life.  These lovely ladies always poured unconditional love and sacrificed their time to help me get to where I need to be.  Right here, sharing my love for Bridal Fashion.  Awwwe…the comfort and warmth —just like a bolero:)

Sketch: AMANDA V. Junior Bridesmaid Gown

After studying the inspiration board, researching fabrics, notions, and details, I finally had the opportunity to sketch the Junior Bridesmaid gown.  The sketch gives my Guest a visual of how the gown would look when complete.  From this point, we can discuss & modify accordingly before cutting the muslin fabric, which is a very crucial part of the custom fit.

Notes:  Solid Pink Silk Satin Fabric for Bodice, Satin Pink Floral Fabric with touches of Blue for Skirt, Silk Organza lining, Hand sew blue glass beads for accent colors.
