Greetings!
I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to share the journey of how this royal blue asymmetrical dress came to life in one week. Well….
After the children returned to school, the chaos of school supplies shopping and school preparation settled down. I finally had time to think about an event I was invited to, the Tootsies Dress for Success fundraiser. It was a week away and I needed an outfit. So what did I do? I texted Roz @sewmuchfabric and asked for advice on a quick sew dress.
On short notice, she was able to meet with me to discuss pattern and fabric. Thank God for Roz’s fabric expertise and styling skills because she came up with the perfect pattern and fabric formula. Feel free to watch the sewing process below. Enjoy!
I want to thank the following people…
Thank you Claudia Reimann @ccreimann for the invite!
Thank you Kim Henry for a wonderful evening at the Tootsies Summer Soirée! @shoptootsies
Thank you Roz @sewmuchfabric for making all this happen in one week! You truly took the burden off me to choose a pattern and fabric. With your services & expertise, I was able to complete a fashionable & chic dress just in time!🤗😘
Thank you everyone for joining me on this journey. I don’t recommend last minute projects, but just in case…go with Ponte knit and call Roz! 😜
